“Clinical Ophthalmology” er ikke en bog for den der bare skal igennem ophthalmologieksamen. Men det er en velskrevet, grundig og virkelig godt illustreret (inklusive trin-for-trin øjenkirurgiske fotos) lærebog, som godt kunne have interesse for den særligt interesserede. Hvis man ønsker at læse på højt niveau er den eneste egentlige anke at grundigheden strækker sig så vidt at det kan være svært at danne sig et indtryk af hvad der er mere og mindre relevant.
